Good Product at a Cheap Price At First Glance When I first opened the package from UPS I have to admit I was a little scared I had bought a toy or perhaps they had sent me the wrong item. I’m happy to say that it’s just a reminder of the old saying “Don’t judge a book by its cover”.Assembly Assembling this thing was extremely easy. I’m not sure how anyone could not figure it out really. The only part that was a little tough was placing the string on the bow. I’m sure there’s some technical name for it. For that I placed the pistol grip on my stairs. I pushed down on either side and my wife strung the bow as I held it. And the only reason why it was a little tough was because she was trying to string it backwards and I had to tell her repeatedly how to do it.Use TAKE EXTRA CAUTION… When you place an arrow on this thing if you press the safety release to hard forward you can fire this thing. I’m sure it’s some kind of design flaw but you could end up shooting someone if…

very good item.. much fun I gave this item 4 stars only because the directions are lacking and the sights are a little on the cheap side. Other than that, awesome item. One thing to keep in mind about a crossbow is they require a lot of maintenance. This is in no way a toy either. When assembling the crossbow, point the crossbow straight up, place rubber pad, place the bow, then place the other rubber pad, then the metal plate, then tighten the set screw down. I was able to string the bow myself using my knee and the floor… not gonna try and explain how haha but it’s possible to string the crossbow yourself..-Strings-You will need to use bowstring wax often (like all archery bows). The string that comes with it comes dry and WILL fray and fail shortly if not properly maintained. I notice the that where the string catches the trigger mechanism is prone to wear from firing, but i remedy this with about an inch worth of masking tape wrapped around the center of the bowstring (and replace as often as…
